Project Description
GeneBrowse allows you to visualize the synteny regions between genomes/chromosomes. This is a tool for people who want to study the synteny between a given pair of genomes.
Design Considerations
Synteny browsers are notorious for being cluttered. I tried to keep it "Tufte" simple borrowing mostly from examples in the D3 wiki. I also chose the colors based on a popular color pallete at colourlovers.com.
